Young Mets Matter More Than Ever
from Talkin' Mets Hosted by Talkin Mets with Mike Silva
Jonah Tong is back in the big leagues, and his latest start gave Mike hope that the Mets could be developing their next great young starting rotation. Mike looks back at the franchise’s rich pitching history and explains why player development isn’t always linear—even if Mets fans have been conditioned to expect immediate greatness from their young arms. In the mailbag, he discusses Bo Bichette’s future, what the Mets should do with Mark Vientos, concerns about Steve Cohen meddling in baseball decisions, and takes another trip down memory lane to revisit some of his favorite Mets of all time.
