Young Officer Accused of Abuse of Power | Louisville News

A 22-year-old former Louisville Metro Police officer, Brennan Keen, faces serious criminal charges for allegedly abusing his badge to tip off a family member involved in an active investigation—helping them evade detection by switching vehicles. Let go from the force in July, Keen now confronts accusations of first-degree official misconduct and unlawful computer access, with potential jail time looming. Authorities stress this case has nothing to do with the controversial Flock Safety cameras. His arraignment is set for October 8th, and this scandal underscores the high stakes of police integrity—and what happens when it’s compromised.
