Hello and welcome to another episode of the young set no I'm your game of strategy and today with me I have five hats I've got the bowler mark playing Hi, so I'm very much not here every every other week it seems like I'm just We've got the top hat Bailey playing beast mode. I'm fancy. We've got the trippley Maddie playing elementor a Mulaney We've got the Playing bear knuckle for a flat cat. I don't my cap to you and we've got the fedora Molly playing Everybody associate associate with neck I thought I could think of five hats.

Yeah, there's the ball technically five hats. There's I didn't go baseball camp I almost went baseball cap. I was wondering if the ball. Yeah, there's the bucket.

I've done it on it There's a visor stove stove pipe hat I don't so Oh Every week it's just how do we rise Alex about as interesting welcome to hot cast but really we're real play face podcast around some Young heroes except for one canonical with everything else on this feed would somebody Like to get a started on what happened on the last episode. I mean we can I think we can source it together I think we were having trouble remembering but I think we can source it together anybody want to start us out I have notes, but you're rough and I think they cut off a certain point. Yeah, uh Okay, so Stevie was attacked by a tentacle monster technical dude part. I mean named massacre Uh, we tried to help in effectually, but Stevie ended up writhing the guy Asha crippled the henchman and scientists with psychic glass Stevie then forces information out of them and contacts the woman who stole her egg It ends with veiled threats over Skype Then elman's or deals with a giant elephant monster. We return and discover It's a nightmare creation of arties after he was awake too long from all the wake up drugs And that's where my notes end That eventually got solved right the nightmare the nightmare monster. I I oh good.

I do believe it. Yeah, right? You guys did solve that It did go away. I think we just woke already up.

Yeah, I think it's it I think we did people will probably tell us Well, because I went and I got already in the make ran away because I didn't want to play a giant monster by myself I knew my battles. I knew my limit. You did run away for a while, but you did eventually yes I think Asha did a shit kind of like psychic damage on it. Yeah, I should help with a bunch of psych damage Then multi tool found a signal Uh in the ocean that was emanating and you went to contact the almonaut appears and you went to go discover it And it was a book and the top half voting in the ocean Can I have his fancy hat since you said it was a top hat and I'm the top hat Can I have the fancy hat?

The hats just voting in the ocean for yet do with it as you please it is a hat But you went down notice some fish were being affected by the the energy of the book and you retrieved the book and the hat And that is where we left off. I think everybody went to the ocean except for maybe already who was asleep or did somebody leave Now we just dragged his unconscious body with us. He's actually in the water right now with us Well, we had to take mattress. So there's a good chance All right, I think about already with part then assassin bug right?

Yeah, I think you're right because yeah, they're dating now And everyone agreed it was a good thing. We all ship it. I mean, I'm Look, I'm gonna say that I'm the old person that gave a family that does explain why we never see them because they're just that like they're just banging in a different room There's only okay, can I like it's a flat which means there's no other rooms And even if there are rooms there's girl rooms and boy rooms, which means at some point they're banging in closet Anyway, you're there and then you got the book Everybody is there you're under the under the under the I don't remember who went under the water But you um emerge from the water with the book and that And there you all are on the mattress and the amount of P as a floating there in the jet couple of them anyway I like give them like the okay him signal and like well good. Yeah, thank you.

Are the fish still acting sucky Um, no, not not too bad. They weren't acting super funky. They were just kind of like some of them were just kind of warped by the Okay, so like some of them like kind of like mutations, but not super bad. Okay The one of the on one of the on one of the p s comes flying down his name is whoosh becomes flying down.

He's like hey, um, so Uh, we helped you out and then we kind of have a favorite to ask okay. How did they help us out? And they told us about the book are they the one that told us no we learned about the book through the supercomputer You told them to you asked them to come over hover around here and watch it. Okay, so they babysap a book for us for a minute Yeah They did the nayships the easy for all support Okay You all have like a like a a mental guy, right?

Um, Maybe possibly On why? I'm doing some points. Do you have a member who's been recently Within the last couple weeks, um, retrieved from somebody and they have been mine White brainwashed basically. We were wondering if one of your team members would be able to help with that Specifically the the mentally dreamy guy.

I call arty I'm not sure that this is within his purview of things. He can do he is child and he did just wake up from coma He's technically major but we can ask him see what we're doing is asking if you can help I mean asha has psychic. Look. I'm on.

I do Would you trust bark with brain surgery? Yes. Yes. I don't think so either way Shoot a passenger dream guy, uh, and let us know if y'all are willing to help but I'm there It's it's something that we would like to get sorted out.

Um Because you don't like that our friends is brainwashed. No, that's understandable. He's fake So yeah, go go back to what you need to do and then I call us your better number. So thank you Yes, could you like just give us the address of like way in case we held in case We are able to so we can just head on over there and I think like that They can just tell us that we can just contact them and then they can tell us to meet us on there It's probably for safety that we don't know address.

Who should fly back up to the ship? In all honesty, I'm not sure that they are in favor just by watching hold they can even go down to try to get the book They just watched a spot Well, but it sounds like they have a lot on their mind considering that they have a teammate who's been green wash Yes, I would be completely with you. This is a very well known superhero group And if they're asking us for a favor it goes well that they think our company's in efforts I follow a lot of social influencers and I'm just saying this is not the first time that this team has asked for favors Who are the following wait what I like to follow this uh instagram influencer named the family girl. She is quite funny Uh as Benjamin Franklin once established a good way to bond with people is to ask them for favors It seems like a good way to keep yourself in debt I mean look it's better to be favored debts than captured if I do say so myself I do not like owing anyone anything very penny wise of you.

So it's what else are we gonna do? I mean, I'm still looking for my fucking child. Yeah, I mean the person's in trouble like we should at least like explore the options We you know no we're superheroes right. I'm gonna like a straight heading back Okay, so we're waterlock She's been here before Right now you're just floating in the middle of the ocean.

I assumed we were walking and talking Girl standing on a flying mattress in the middle No, like you know, it's like walking and talking we're we're progressing but we're still talking Flying and talking. I'm gonna go take some pills and uh drink some coffee I have priority. Didn't we take your pills? I wasn't here. Well, I'm saying this in case Alex forgot Let's cover that when he goes to the medicine cabinet I assume I see all his pills away here.

He did drugs I think he did but unless or do you have a secret stash somewhere? I didn't have time to take stuff out of my pockets I think this I fell out where you're being taseled around. Okay, so the the group flying back you return back and everybody is there and wait Arthur and assassin bug have put everybody nice dinner. Thank you. I appreciate it So I feel like I could read this book safely without being corrupted by whatever Magic holds you have no idea.

Oh Can I roll a magic object? Oh What kind of what are you trying to do just see if it's like safe to read? I wouldn't know more about this book So you're just trying to get like a feel for it. Yeah.

All right. Yeah, roll me roll me a perception or um, whatever a notice Yay, I got a plus two. Okay. Uh, it seems like there's like a magic emanating from the book and it seems to be like slowly growing Oh, this is slowly growing magic sure is good that we brought it back to our base of operations I know i'm only trying to remember is it an iron box that helps like prevent that It's it's very magic.

You'd want cold iron for demons Alrighty everybody arrives back and they have a large magic tome in top. I'm wearing the top hat I'm putting on another show. No, I found the water. I wish so what's the deal with the Top hat and book.

We found them in the water They apparently are magic. I think I look snazzy. Absolutely. Okay.

So reason they're just random magical objects in the water Yeah, I don't know how ours works. Okay. I'm starting dinner. Okay, it's chicken corn on blue Damn we fancy.

Oh, let's see How are you doing in terms of like sake of abilities because we have a because we got asked if we could help someone who's been brainwashed Um Normal like capabilities really nothing if they're asleep and I'm asleep. I can do it I can go to their mind and do tons of stuff. Do you think you could reverse the effects of the brainwashing? I have no idea.

I've never tried. Do you want to try? No, it's a viable option. Great going back to sleep sure Well, we should explain the circumstances so Another group of superheroes they have a member whose mind was white and they are looking for anyone with psych abilities that might be able to bring their friend back If there's a chance that there's something inside of him or her I don't know who it is That they could possibly be even subconsciously dreaming about or in their mind while they're asleep.

I could possibly try to pull that out. Yes Yeah If it's in there, yes, I just you have to kind of look around I've done before because I've when I was originally in my coma. I was walking through people's dreams Just doing things. Do you want to try to help?

You know, why would I say no? I thought we were supposed to hear us That's what I said. We are but if you don't want to because an empty cup cannot pour and if you do not have the like Energy or the How you say the fox who tried to do these kind of things it is okay to put yourself first Then we're not heroes if we don't put it if we put ourselves first if you do not put yourself first occasionally you will wear yourself out And then you are useless to everyone. I'm not saying you always but yourself first pretty useless anyways, especially in the physical sense Does anyone want to try to come with me because I can't bring people into other people's dreams I'm absolutely useless.

Oh, I would love to find out more You guys got to kind of go to sleep together and I'd have to pick you up one by one through your dreams That's fine All right But if you want to set up something with the people so we can try and try to get them to knock that person out or you know Drug them so they're asleep or something then yeah, we can totally try it Do you want to try tomorrow? As long as they're up for it. I'm fine with that. Okay, so tomorrow We'll go into the mind of withers brainwashed.

I was gonna say tomorrow. We'll all sleep together What is everybody doing for the rest of the night? I'm researching the other facilities that the egg could be held at because you said there was three and I've eliminated one at this point Right there. Yeah, there were three facilities being built.

Um and they're in different cities One is in a court star and the other is in onyx rich. Which one is closer Uh to where you are now or to where you were because it's where you are now court star would be closer But if we have to go to the west coast to drop everybody else off is the other one closer It would be closer to go to court star ants to go to um where The other one I'm okay Well, if that's the case i'll tag along with them and then just hit the courts there are one on my own Unless ossha wants to come because ossha didn't say she wanted to go into brains Well, I was thinking i'm not quite sure how long it takes but if I could teach bark some uh supportive move Psychic support. How long would that take what are you trying to teach it? Like uh, like well, especially since it's a dog I feel like you teach it a new trick like you're grinding for a better move Uh You have to hold a cd to its head for a little while I'm thinking Like uh, i'm not quite sure Like a move like guide dog or something like that where uh you support it supports uh the Right, the I guess the party I could teach him protect and he helps Okay, yeah, so um you can start working on that you're trying to work on teaching it like a support move.

Yes. Okay I mean, I feel like we're probably having some of this conversation since I already trying to make sure that's eva plenty of coffee while she's doing this research And we'd be sort of if she's planning on going by herself I might suggest that like ossha who's one of the one of the benefits of her quote unquote power set is that she can alternate out What things she has to sort of support her might be more beneficial in the tangible world than in the dream space That's fair Since otherwise reversibility is not going to use if she goes into the dream space with just one bloke amount True. I thought you were really she was planning on leaving the ploke amount with arty As like a support in case he passes out or something happens He's gonna be passed up no matter what He has to be asleep to be in there and so if I overhear this i'll be like just you know When I pop out okay arthur pops in so he can help you out too. Yeah, so I can take arthur with me two cities over I'm saying take out she either because it does make sense.

I agree with case there. I'm just saying no He pops out whenever i'm out. So Right. Okay.

So if if you are amenable to it, I would like to borrow arthur and asha if you feel comfortable with it I would appreciate the backup on this Definitely Good because I don't feel comfortable with you just going by yourself like that's that's a recipe for disaster Not that you cannot competent capable of handling these what it is. I'm not sure I have another three million That's all I appreciate the consent Yeah, okay. So you start training your pokemon for some support stuff tonight passes on anybody else does anything different during the night Elementor You have like a like a dream kind of uh where you're running through the London streets And that's about it. It's pretty innocuous, but you have it's a pretty like vivid dream It feels a little bit different than other dreams that you've had but um, yeah, just you run running through the uh, the streets of old mary old London Is that fluck of seagulls still hanging around trying to get uh elements of attention?

Um, they were for a while um, but no they're they're not there anymore I know exactly what it was too. All right. Okay. So the next morning comes and everybody is there like where's everybody go?

I guess we're piling back on mattress because we have to go the same way to drop them off to their thing and microbought Are they do we ever get information when we call them about like who this is or anything like that? Uh, nobody asked okay Nobody called to do information. Oh, you're getting on mattress and you don't know where you're going Well, before we leave before we leave because we don't actually know where we're going so apparently We should probably tell them we're coming. I think we would have had the comments that I wanted the address before you said no We're gonna be cool.

Um, so we We got them back under um Some strange circumstances, but we got her back and we are trying to we we tried a few things as far as like getting a remember stuff but like Um, whatever whatever her sister did to her.

Uh, it's been it's like It's it's deep and difficult for us to get so we thought like dreamers like it's or something like that would be able to like Get in there and maybe undo some of this brainwashing that took place And I have a question that this is gonna sound crazy, but we are superheroes. You're sure it's not a clone. Yeah. Yep.

I'm sure it's not a clone Okay, uh, all right. Well, where where's your base of operations? We we didn't actually exchange business cards Um, we have a few bases, but right now, uh, whip is in copper valley. All right.

I'll uh text you the address, but it won't be hard to find So yeah, just um just show up at the the lobby and we'll we'll bring in So you guys are headed towards copper valley and you arrive. Um, it's a it's a mild-sized Uh, city next to a different Um, and in the middle of copper valley, there's a large skyscraper with a O on it. This is a big goose egg It's an O and it's got like a like a kauk wookie style explosion-y look around it I was gonna say it's just popped with the explosion comic book Like the the little jagged circle thing with the O in the middle and there you are All right, I'm speaking to the receptionist then.

Okay, uh, you you head into the lobby and the receptionist is like it seems like relatively busy There's a lot of people coming in and out. Um, the receptionist is like hello. How can I help you? Hi, uh, my name is Hank Hamilton.

I'm with the young sentinels I believe the onomatopias are expecting us. She's like hold on. She starts clicking on our keyboard Uh, just one moment. Oh, yes, I see that um, you have been given access to uh, some of the floors Um, you're expected to go to the elevator for a second elevator on the right and go up to four 25 and who should we get there?

Great. Um, well, thank thank you very much. Uh, Sevi, Ashar, are you coming up with us or are you gonna continue on? I figured we have to pick up, Ashar.

She works with network very in her chat. She also has an ASMR channel. Um Yep, so you get at the elevator you pass click clack, um, which is her name now And uh, you go up to floor 25 or whatever I said and you are there and who wishes there He's like when the elevator doors open. He's like, oh hello.

I have a lesson I'm not staying Oh, okay. I mean whatever. I appreciate your help. It's it's um, um, I'm gonna have to take you into this other elevator because my keycard gets us up to the restricted levels Um, this is just one of the levels that you've been in but follow me to this elevator.

Um, I'll use my keycard. We can go up to uh, for uh 42 Um, and then use this keycard on the elevator. Boop. I know Hey, he gets in the elevator.

He's like, I'm coming from this. This is a lovely headquarters. He was like, uh, thank you. Um, we're we're kind of a big organization.

Uh, we got a lot of members and um, I'm one of the founding members. Actually, uh, yeah, so Uh here here. I'm kind of in charge the other cities that we happen to be in some of the other members aren't charged, but I'm kind of in charge of this facility. Um, so you are franchised?

Yeah, awesome. Now, do you own the whole building or just certain floors? Um, we do lease some of the floors out to like other like Businesses and stuff like that. Like the bottom floor we do have like A moon box and a couple other like eateries and whatnot And like we have some office spaces open and we have a few floors of residential for like where we bring people in or people that are displaced by Superhero battles and whatnot.

So we run a pretty tight operation, but we do have a lot of floors that aren't strictly the super hero Yeah, that moon box was pretty tempting, but since we all have to go to sleep. I couldn't have any of that coffee Yeah, yeah, I would imagine yeah So what is you seem to be trying to do about for a flick is you're so like one of the OG members? She is not she's actually the third way we've had The other No, she's very she's very valuable. I mean we try to keep all of our members as best we can You know, but she does happen to be the third whip even the first whip wasn't really our Founding members are pal boom me and we kind of You know what I respect it what's the holding we're on on a month of pia?

That's the I Yeah, so like we brought in people that used to have different hero names Super With similar powers like I'm assuming you're a speedster right no, I can fly and help other people so So like I kind of control not so much control air, but I can like manipulate gravity I'm basically helping people transport like I'm good at getting people places. I can like have a large group of people fly Do you have a speedster? Actually, not but I know of at the moment. No, you have a job application for Yeah, I mean go down to the front desk you want to get a job application of time maybe Um, I think what would your coding be zoom?

Pretty good speeds are going I mean like I would get two forms That's hard that's hard anyway, so they take you up to And it's like a big medical facility Um, he's like here's where we you know we do the the healing up and taking care of medical problems and whatnot Um, and he waves to he waves to other members of the ideas and he's like right now we have crash overseeing Because we've been doing like Right like shifts making sure she's okay being taken care of she's kind of sedated at the moment because like every time she's not sedated She kind of loses it and we don't want to keep her sedated for long That's good That's good for me today right now though because it's hard for me to do my thing if she's not kind of sleepy Right. Yeah, we've been kind of trying to keep her under because every time she wakes up and we try to communicate with her Talk with her she kind of just loses her shit. Um, and we know that's not her and she's going through something So, yeah, see he walks you over and you see crash like over by the medical bed um in this in a medical room and Uh, who she's like is there anything that you need as far as hoping you set up to do what you do? We probably need at least three beds We need people kind of monitoring I myself can kind of jump out every once in a while myself, but um have you guys ever seen the movie night terrors on oak avenue?

No Oh with the dude with the salad hands Slash-litch Salad fingers. Yes things that happen in dreams can affect you in real life and you could die from them. Okay. Oh my god Now do you need to be said you need any of our members to go with you If you welcome this because you can be able to um somebody who knows her well can help us probably try to pull her out Okay, I'm gonna go see who's available that knows her well and um i'll get the beds and everything set up Um if you also just stay here for a little bit um crash can be comfortable.

I brought you a nice quill You know eight cc's a warm milk set It's just a very in a nightlight It's a I need to sleep with a fan also because someone like possibly read me a bit I need my white noise machine or this any of this hell did you turn on? Um, she's she's like, um, not like lady demetrescu large, but she's she's normal large She's angel bust from uh dead bull. She's a work Kind of um more but like her her skin turns the metal even better She's that Russian guy from that series. She's cool. Yeah, um, basically, uh, but yeah, she's she's big Uh, she's a big lady.

Um, she's got long black hair and her skin is made of metal Oh, right cool. Stevie turns a slightly darker red When she transforms that's her hair turned into metal and so she long hair could potentially be like shape I think You heard a gunkata She makes a ponytail and can use it as a blade She was ahead. I can't believe she looks like Thank you, buddy. You're my head.

She's gonna mark with tons of little spikes on it They get all your beds ready and they're like, do you need any like sleep aids or Because we can like we're like a whole medical facility here. We can we can estimate that Oh, yeah, definitely please. That might be safest. Okay, cool.

I'm gonna give everybody an apple Do you need anything? I seem to be able to fall asleep by myself Kind of like lay down and just like fall asleep The last thing I would say to anybody who uh is going to go to sleep You need to kind of subconsciously allow me to come in. Otherwise, I will have to attack you to get into your mind Please leave door. I'm not Don't want to be attacked.

Oh, this is a toughy I said the keys on the door I will explain this all to bark and bark will understand Bark growls in agreement Back and seems to know what you say Are you go to sleep first you enter into the dream realm roll me a note I got a four Oh, okay So you enter the dream realm and like Now I'm sleeping with that's all my dream skills the four no matter what so I actually roll zero, but okay, that's fine Hell yes, but I mean a four is good. Yeah, you enter the dream world and you can like in the dream world You can see the other people who are going to sleep which everybody's been everybody. That's going to sleep who is it? who is a bare knuckle Elementor plank and bark bark, okay Like you can you can sense their minds before you enter them or whatever in like in the in the dream state But you also notice way way off in the distance.

There's like somebody else traveling through the dream world Okay, like what's like are they close by here? Are they like well? I can just feel in through the realm you can feel them through the realm And you think if you focus on you might be able to make contact with them You you feel them also somebody else manipulating dreams not the dreams of these people and not the dreams of whip at the moment Um, but like way off in the distance you feel someone else in the dream room Well, that's another time uh, conundrum that Okay, I'm gonna make a mental note of that You listen or that I could if I ever go back to sleep back and try to find them that I'm feeling or anything roll me Something roll me some sort of mental something like a path. Yeah sure.

Yeah, wrong with that. Yeah I got a three. Yeah three um Still a pretty decent role though. You a word comes to mind when you're trying to sense their aura and you just it's the word horse Horse, okay.

I'll remember that and then you have all of the dreamer people Before you go into the whoever dream I was wondering because in the dream home you guys are gonna look the way you want to be I'm wondering what are you guys? I'll just say instead of going one by one into everybody's dreams you collect everybody Um, and you're there about to go into the whip and everybody can kind of describe what they look like what their dream selves look like Or dream sonas Clank looks like taller Clank is not a lady be tall. Mm-hmm. She's like nine foot tall middle woman Wow What is your what is your dream sona?

Um, I would like I feel that Hank has really come to uh Truly internalized the visage of the bear So I think he would look like an anthropomorphic bear dressed sort of like a college professor complete with jacket with like a leather patches on it Uh and glasses, um, so maybe something sort of like what a college professor in the world of Berenstein bears. Okay. Okay. Good.

Asha What is uh, what is uh, what is uh, what is barks? Bark that's funny. That's exactly what I was gonna say. So bark looks very uh intelligent With a with a top hat in a model Just like a dog working with a college professor Is he walking onto feet?

It's people Yes, absolutely. Yeah, I should control bark if you like Actually, um, this is a dream Oh, you're a dapper dog Yes good day. Cheps Um, what is uh, elementary dreams sona 10 years younger. Oh my god.
