Låten med vimsigt beat om den overkligt snygga tjejen, som ett antal månader tidigare hade förvandlat en frustrerad student till hitmakare, blev nu en minimalistisk stråkgarnerad och politiskt laddad angelägenhet. Den gav samtidigt en bild av ett självsäkert artisteri.
