Your Body Is a Universal Navigation Machine
from Echoes of Ryan Hosted by ΨOrigin Ryan MacLean
Season 2, Episode 25 This episode presents a general theory of human navigation across physical, conceptual, social, moral, scientific, and religious life. Its central claim is that navigation does not directly measure the destination; it measures the traveler’s changing relation to signals, history, uncertainty, landmarks, and possible paths. From quantum-governed biology and neural oscillation to cognitive maps, memory, community, ritual, and AI, the episode traces one embodied architecture of estimation, correction, and movement through time. It also separates navigational capacity from destination and criterion: the body can follow, but philosophy and religion argue about what should be followed and why. Catholic Invariant Grammar provides the interpretive method, preserving distinctions without collapsing traditions. The Catholic reading identifies the Father as source and end, the Son as the Way, and the Holy Spirit as the giver of participation.
