In this episode, I share a deeply personal journey from forcing protocols to embracing flow, and why this shift matters for all of us - especially women.I open with a story from my recent new moon ritual at the wild spring where I collect my water, exploring how our relationship with the elements can become medicine rather than just another item on our wellness checklist. Then I dive into a conversation I had with Amanda from The Healer Revolution podcast (episode drops in September!) about an intuitive choice I made before a recent massage - taking the homeopathic remedy Cuprum Metallicum to support my fascia and connective tissue. This seemingly simple decision opens up a much bigger conversation about copper as the metal of Venus, the archetypal energy of receptivity, and how we can prepare our bodies to receive healing rather than forcing them into submission. From there, we explore the masculine-feminine imbalance that's taken over healthcare - how we've created systems built on force, structure, and rigid protocols without the balancing principles of intuition, receptivity, and gentle flow. I contrast coffee enemas (forcing the body to release) with castor oil packs (creating conditions where the body feels safe to let go) as a perfect example of these two approaches. This isn't just about healing modalities - it's about a collective pattern we're seeing everywhere. We've swung so far into the "hustle harder" mentality that we've forgotten true healing happens in relationship, in safety, in that space where someone feels held enough to finally soften.I share how this understanding has shaped my Mineral Foundations course and my current client work, where I create what I call "ecosystem restoration" rather than symptom-chasing protocols. Your body is a living ecosystem, and like any ecosystem, it requires the right conditions to thrive - not force.Perfect for anyone tired of battling their body, ready to explore a gentler path to healing, or curious about integrating ancient wisdom with modern wellness approaches. This episode sets the stage for my upcoming summer series on terrain restoration and moving beyond the root cause paradigm.Support the showSupport the podcast  Mineral Foundations Course HEREMinerals & Microbes package HERERewilded Wellness program HEREJoin my newsletter HERE If you are interested in becoming a client and have questions, reach out by emailing me: [email protected]  Find me on Instagram : @ Lydiajoy.me
