But have we intentionally made space for those things?Greg McKeown writes in Essentialism:“If you don’t prioritize your life, someone else will.”There will always be another email, notification, problem or request competing for our attention. If we don’t put our “big rocks” on the calendar first, the little things will happily fill our days.Today’s action step:Choose the three things that matter most to you right now. Then look at this week’s calendar and make sure you can actually see them there.Schedule the prospecting.Schedule the follow-up.Schedule the workout.Make time for the relationship.Protect your peace.Don’t just hope you’ll get around to what matters.
