They were brought to life when she would breastfeed her dolls and step into the roll of Mother in any game of house, barbies, etc.  As a teenager and young adult, these pieces still showed up strong for her, just in a different light.  Professionally, a career with children at the core unfolded after she graduated with her Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Care. Personally, it wasn’t time to role play anymore. It was time to dive in. To do the ‘heartwork’. To heal. To transmute traumas and addictions that no longer served… “it ran in my family, until it ran into me” is a quote that has always resonated with Bec and the path she leads.  Last year at this time, ‘right timing’ prevailed and with the unwavering support and trust from her partner of 11 years, Sean, a profound journey of conscious conception, a wild pregnancy and out-of-system Homebirth, supported by Traditional Birth Companions, unfolded and they recently welcomed their beautiful daughter, Addison, earthside November 2023.  This is a story of radical self-responsibility, spiritual growth and a whole lot of MAGIC.
