Drawing from my own transformative journey leaving law enforcement to pursue entrepreneurship, I explore why so many of us live at just 60% of our potential—surviving but not thriving, paying bills but not feeling fulfilled. That nagging voice saying "this can't be it" isn't just discontent; it's wisdom. Your soul recognizes when you're settling for "fine" instead of pursuing fire.

The fear of failing keeps so many dreams on permanent hold, but failure only happens when you completely give up. What's truly terrifying isn't taking the risk—it's looking back after decades of identical days and wondering what might have been. Building small, consistent habits (like writing for just 25 minutes daily instead of occasional marathon sessions) creates sustainable progress and builds the resilience you need for the journey.

Remember, if your calling isn't understood by everyone around you, that's actually confirmation you're on the right track. They weren't on the call. The universe gave you that intuition for a reason. So start where you are—messy, scared, unsure—and take one small action today. Because half-living will never satisfy a whole soul, and the life you want isn't going to magically appear. You have to go all in to create it.
