Your First Amendment rights are only protected if you exercise your Second Amendment Rights

from KELY 1230AM/98.5 FM News and Commentary · host Wyatt Cox

Sunday’s shooting at an LDS church in Michigan is another reminder that Christians in America are under attack. Evil is moving more into conservative communities. As Pastor Daniel said here on this station on Friday, we seek peace, but we must also be ready to fight evil. Prayer matters, but preparation matters too. When seconds count, police are minutes away. We support our law enforcement, but responsibility falls on us to protect our families, our faith, and our freedom. To defend our First Amendment rights, we must use our Second Amendment rights. With thousands passing through our community daily, we cannot know who seeks violence. Benjamin Franklin put it plainly: God helps those who help themselves, and we have to be prepared to help ourselves at all times.
