Please click the link above to watch the short. Thank you.Hello everyone, welcome to the Mattacritic. This is Matthew Hemenway. In this episode of the Mattacritic, I will be doing a short recap of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 1 Episode 9 that is currently on Disney+. I asked you in the last episode, what is the big reveal that Harry Osborne showed to Peter Parker of what his Spider-Man costume looks like. It never was answered in the last episode; it ends up getting answered in this episode. Harry Osborne also says the iconic line in the last episode that MJ would say, “Go get them tiger”. The episode will have stuff that will happen. In the last episode when the 110-street gang met with their contact, it was none other than the Chameleon. Dr. Otto Octavius looks like the design of Otto Octavius from the 1990’s Spider-Man cartoon show. The Chameleon does not, he looks like some of the other iterations of the character. Some of those other iterations, he usually wears a mask, and he can imitate anyone that he wants.Mattacritic is a reader-supported publication. Lonny Lincoln thinks this is a bad idea to go after it when cops are guarding the truck. Lonny Lincoln is not against stopping the Scorpions, but he is against going after it with police officers guarding it.Nico Minoru is with Pearl and they both agree that they can use some girl time. Nico Minoru hears the message that Peter Parker sent her. While listening to the message, the Oscorp truck came close to hitting her. Peter Parker as Spider-Man saves her from it. Nico is amazed as Peter as Spider-Man can stop a truck without much effort. He saves her life and gets her to safety. He is wearing the iconic Spider-Man costume that is red, white, and blue with the iconic black trimming. Thanks for reading Mattacritic! This post is public so feel free to share it.Spider-Man later will have to help Lonny Lincoln stop the Scorpion. Lonny Lincoln will later get powers to fight the Scorpion and his gang. Spider-Man and Lonny Lincoln will fight the Scorpion. When Lonny Lincoln gets buried in the rubble, Spider-Man goes all out on the Scorpion and comes close to killing him. Lonny Lincoln stops him and reminds Spider-Man that people look up to him. Spider-Man realizes this and ends up not killing the Scorpion. Lonny Lincoln in the fight becomes the character in the comics, he is supposed to be. He literally was indestructible. Lonny Lincoln lets Spider-Man know, he will do his best to stay out of trouble, but trouble always seems to find him.Nico will thank Peter for saving his life as Spider-Man and she lets him know what she saw today reminded her of the day they first met when he saved her life from the Venom Symbiote. They end up restoring their friendship.Norman Osborne will meet with Dr. Otto Octavius and let him know that he put him in a jail cell. Otto Octavius calls Norman Osborne a man child. He says society has let you get away with stuff. There are several people that I can think of that act like children when they look like adults. Donald Trump is a good example of that. He whines all the time, and he thinks he knows everything when he knows nothing. How does the episode end? Please leave your answer in the comment section below.
