Your last uneaten piece of chocolate which you have mislaid!

Do you know that feeling when you have put a goodie down and then can't find it when you are just about to eat its?! You have that sense of missing out on something. To a much greater degree God has put in us a desire to search for ultimate fulfilment as we know something is missing in our lives. Disillusionment, cynicism, a bombardment of negativity etc can all serve to squash that inner desire to find the deep meaning of life. In the book of Ecclesiastes 3:11 wise King Soloman is attributed to having said that God "has put eternity into man's heart". Jesus Himself said, as recounted in the Gospel of John chapter 4:14 that "whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life". Jesus said that to a woman who he went in search of, much to her surprise. He is reaching out to you too.
