Your PERMANENT and Overriding Identity in Christ! 5/11/26 Frame the Week with the Word

from Frame Your Week with the Word · host Sara Shallenberger

Identity in Christ! Every born again believers has a shared identity in Christ. Today we continue to hear the Word, confess the Word and release our faith and direction of our identity in Christ into our lives. Remember: Your identity in Christ comes from Jesus's finished work, not your first birth circumstances. Our identity remains the same, although we grow in depth of understanding and application through every season of life. Our identity in Christ is not dependent on how people see or treat us, or the circumstances we are walking through. Identity in Christ carries authority and God will empower all of us to walk it out, every day. We are: New Creations in Christ, and have a supernatural capacity for growth and change. God's workmanship created in Christ to do works that He has prepared corporately and for us individually. God's righteousness. It is Jesus' blood over our lives, not our own good works or behavior that gives us access to God or qualifies us. We are chosen BY God and get to respond to that choice every day. James 3:4 says when WE chose to draw near to God, He responds by drawing near to us. God's spirit and Word gives our spiritual ears and eyes the ability to hear and see Him. Need more Help?
