I am strong willed, I am determined, and I had a really big problem with just sitting back and accepting that I was a powerless victim in my own life. That didn’t sit well with me. 3. I figured out that I do have power in my life. I don’t have power over other people, I don’t have power over their health, I don’t have power over what they do or what they say or even what they do to me, but what I do have power over is my perspective. And what I had been invalidating the entire time was the power of my perspective. 4. When I started realizing how powerful my perspective is, that changed my entire life. The power of my perspective cannot be underestimated. 5. Wait a minute- that’s just a perspective. And I can change my perspective. 6. It’s up to you to change your perspective. It’s up to you to own your power, and you do it moment by moment, thought by thought by thought. 7. Our feelings are beautiful. Our feelings deserve attention.
