His academic journey began with a solid grounding in Human Biology/Biological Science at the University of Guelph, leading him into the world of Naturopathic Medicine at CCNM in Toronto in 2014. Seeking to deepen his knowledge, Steve transferred to Bastyr University California in 2016, where he remained until his graduation in 2019.While in clinical practice, Steve focused on regenerative medicine, including PRP, prolotherapy, and IV therapy, as well as physical medicine and women's health. His approach to patient care was characterized by the integration of traditional naturopathic treatments with modern medical innovations. While no longer practicing, Dr. Steve still holds licenses in California, British Columbia and Alberta Canada.After his return to Canada in 2020, Steve and his husband Daniel James created Vortex, a pioneering space that redefines self-care. By leveraging high-tech solutions for wellness, Vortex embodies Steve's vision of a future where health care transcends conventional boundaries, offering clients an innovative path to well-being. Steve's commitment to health extends beyond his professional life. He is an enthusiastic runner, swimmer, and CrossFitter, showcasing his belief in the importance of physical activity as an integral part of a healthy lifestyle.
