Your Story Ain’t Over EP #51 W/ Ru-el Sailor

from The Pull Up Experience Podcast · host The Pull Up Experience Podcast

In the American criminal justice system, wealth—not culpability—shapes outcomes. Many people charged with crimes lack the resources to investigate cases or obtain the help they need, leading to wrongful convictions and excessive sentences, even in capital cases. Racial disparities persist at every level from misdemeanor arrests to executions. The “tough on crime” policies that led to mass incarceration are rooted in the belief that Black and brown people are inherently guilty and dangerous—and that belief still drives excessive sentencing policies today. In this episode we had the honor of “pulling up” on Ru-El Sailor of Comma Club. We covered everything from prison reform to the life of a entrepreneur and the techniques used to help make his business big, in this episode we discussed: -How prison reform is essential to the future of our communities -Creating a brand/business is not easy but worth it -And much, much more.... _________________________________________ Take your networking and business card to the next level with Social Master https://socialmaster.com/?ref=BKoUx3u-hDrL Follow Ru-El on IG https://instagram.com/comma_club_clothing?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= THE PULL UP EXPERIENCE on IG: http://www.instagram.com/thepullupexp MARKITA on IG: http://www.instagram.com/beneficialbae NAKIA on IG: http://www.instagram.com/2youwines BRANDON on IG: http://www.instagram.com/notyouravgagent Become a part of the THE PULL UP community at http://www.linktr.ee/thepullupexperience This episode was directed & produced by Steven Jackson on IG: http://www.instagram.com/alieneyezphotos Angie “Rlo” Frazier on IG: http://www.instagram.com/whersrlo
