Rhiannon is a 34-year-old Secondary School Physical Education Teacher. Her passion for exercise, Health, and Fitness have always been her passion, growing up playing representative Volleyball and Netball from a very young age. Today she still plays these sports at a competitive level and cannot see herself ever not participating in a team sport. At 18, she was gang raped by a group of 5 men after getting separated from her friends on a night out. This night left her feeling vulnerable, unsafe, and like she was to blame for what happened. Out of fear, guilt, and shame, she told nobody about what happened to her and wouldn't find the courage to seek help until 2 years after the incident. During that time she developed complex PTSD, Chronic Anxiety, and Anorexia Nervosa. Finally, telling her mum what happened, she managed to voice what she’d been hiding from the world.
