So I decided to start the intro to the final book in my collection of the writings of Florence Scovel Shinn which should have read after the Game of Life. I got hungry and started hungry talking at the end so sorry please forgive me I love you. You have and short and looong version crazy huh? Anyhoo, then we tackle the thought “some day”. But we ready for it from flossy right? Today is the day Now is the appointed time. Thank you for joining me on this journey. This readings along with prayer and meditation has served me well this week. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. We have the power to change an unhappy condition by waving over it the wand of the word. In the place of sorrow joy appears, in the place of sickness health appears, in the place of lack abundance appears, in the place of death new life appears and so on. Enjoy ladies! Shalom and enjoy your Memorial Day weekend.

Imagine That Sydnee Sydnee is 20 something-year-old black girl who finds herself talking out loud instead of writing in her journal because it takes too long. I named this podcast "Imagine That" for 2 reasons, first its an ode to an old bookstore I loved when I was a kid (I'm one of those girls who loves to buy books but then either never finishes them or opens them) and secondly my head is always in the clouds. This podcast talks about anything from my fears, Tupac conspiracy theories, challenges, messy work life, friends, sports, and anything else that comes to mind. Enjoy! Civil Rights podcast Caitlin Groome Elaine was born in Pennsylvania in 1943. She is a “Distinguished Graduate” of the Philadelphia High School for Girls. When she was older she attended college at the University of California where she was introduced to the Black Panther Party, African Americans members would fight for their rights. She then became the chairwoman in the party. Elaine than became the first woman to lead the Party. Truth Encounter: The Last Week - Rejected in Jerusalem Podcast After hard frosts and heavy snows, finally March Madness begins. It brings not only the best show in basketball, but Easter lilies in Wal-Mart and beautiful new dresses on racks for moms to buy for their little girls. It’s the triumph of warmth over cold, of tulip blossoms over ugly bulbs, but most of all it’s the time when more than 2 billion Christians across the globe look back to the events of Passion Week, the Last Week, the time when Jesus was rejected in Jerusalem. . His Last Week on earth began with shouts, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” It ended with “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” How could this week in a land hardly the size of New Jersey where a peasant was crucified like thousands of other Jews by the Romans be the climax of all of history? Java Head by Joseph Hergesheimer Loyal Books Java Head is a novel of the American merchant marine at the beginning of the great clipper ship era. It is laid in Salem, when that city was still a port rich with the traffic of the East Indies; a story of choleric ship masters, charming girls, and an aristocratic Manchu woman in carmine and jades and crusted gold. There is a drama as secret and poisonous as opium, lovely old gardens with lilac trees and green lattices, and elm-shaded streets ending at the harbor with the brigs unloading ivory from Africa and the ships crowding on their topsails for Canton. It is a romantic novel-and yet true-rather than a study of drab manners; there is no purpose in it other than the pleasure to be found in the spectacle of life supported by high courage and made beautiful by women in peacock shawls.
