You’re entering sacred time

As we enter Dhul-Qa’dah, one of the sacred months, this episode is a gentle reminder that not all time is the same.Allah says:“Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve [lunar] months… of these, four are sacred. That is the correct religion, so do not wrong yourselves during them…” (Surah At-Tawbah 9:36)And the Prophet ﷺ said:“The year is twelve months, of which four are sacred: three consecutive months—Dhul-Qa’dah, Dhul-Hijjah, and Muharram—and Rajab…” (Bukhari & Muslim)A short reflection on becoming more aware of sacred time, and how even small actions can carry greater weight within it.Wa Allahu a‘lam.
