This episode is to remind us all in our respective labs that often we are closer to our goals and dreams than we think. Most importantly it’s important for us to remember that on the other side of our goals exists a resource, person, insight, idea or piece of information that we don’t know that will help us get over the huddle. It’s important that we face this opportunity starting with WHO not HOW. In the short term rental space, as a virtual airbnb superhost, the answer to our problems is usually just one call away. Whether it’s a plumber, contractor, manager or even a runner, the solution should never start with “I”...it should always start with ‘who.’ You can apply the same concept in your bigger experiments. To overcome the obstacle and or simply get over the otherside – in this day and age, your answer may truly be just a call away…to a mentor, paying for a consult or simply asking someone who’s been in the exact place you want to be in like some of the guests that I feature on this podcast. So reflect and think, what is it that I am trying to accomplish and who can help? Am I just one call away or one experiment away? Chances are you might be. The answer may not always lead you to the first major win in your lab but every question and experiment gets you closer.
