Cette semaine, Serge Mariani rencontre le pianiste de jazz, Baptiste Trotignon.  C’est son album le plus personnel, c’est en tous cas ce que le pianiste et compositeur Baptiste Trotignon dit de « You’ve Changed » (Sony Music 2019), composé mais aussi improvisé tout au long de près des 18 mois qui ont suivi de grands changements dans sa propre vie d’homme. Au fil de cette période, il a invité certains de ses amis musiciens à le rejoindre en studio pour des duos qui constituent une moitié des 16 titres de l’album: des standards tels que le titre éponyme You’ve Changed, interprété en duo avec le trompettiste Avishaï Cohen ou celui qui ouvre l’album, I Am A Fool To want You, qui permet à la chanteuse Camelia Jordana de révéler une grande sensibilité soul. Les autres personnalités rencontrées s’appellent Thomas de Pourquery, Ibrahim Maalouf, Vincent Segal ou Joe Lovano. Un superbe line up pour des duos répondant aux titres en piano solo de Baptiste Trotignon, habitué à l’exercice mais qui se confie en quelque sorte dans cet album comme dans un journal intime et comme il l’a fait au micro de Serge Mariani pour cette Jazz Interview sur Art District radio.
