This series is all about how we are invited to live in fellowship with the Holy Spirit throughout each day. The tagline for the series is also the key verse for this message.  James, the brother of Jesus, writes that if you lack wisdom then all you need to do is ask God for it. God will honor this promise by giving wisdom and discernment through His Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 13:14 TLB 14 … May God’s love and the Holy Spirit’s friendship be yours. James 1:5 NIV 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. Philippians 1:9-11 ESV 9 And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, 10 so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, 11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. Hebrews 5:11-14 ESV 11 About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. 12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, 13 for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. 14 But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil. If you want it, you got it When moments come up this week where you need wisdom and clarity and you don’t know what is next, thank the Holy Spirit for His gift and lean not on your own understanding.
