You've Got Mail: Letters to the Churches - Laodicea

In the seventh and final letter to the churches Jesus addresses the church in Laodicea, sadly with no words of commendation. The Laodicean church in their pride and total self-reliance had become lukewarm and He reacted strongly with these words, " I know your deeds, that you are neither cold or hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm-I am about to spit you out of my mouth" Revelation 3:15-16. Such a strong response from our Lord should cause us all to reflect where we are -- cold, hot or lukewarm? May we all take this letter as if it were written to us personally.
