艺术家陈维明设计的好莱坞版《与王炳章同囚》的街头艺术表演，在自我囚禁七天后，星期天下午获得超人英雄相助，在好莱坞中国戏院前突破牢笼，以好莱坞式的结局画上句点。为响应《与王炳章同囚》的号召，一些中国民运人士和艺术家陈维明打造牢笼，放在好莱坞最热闹的中国戏院前面，将近一星期来，声援王炳章等人的象征监牢杵在星光大道的人潮和好莱坞大街的车潮之间，备受瞩目。星期天傍晚，自我囚禁七天的陈维明在支持者的簇拥下，抬起牢笼在星光大道上示威游行。
