著名历史学家余英时教授在美国东部时间2021年8月1日（星期日）凌晨于睡梦中安详离世，享年91岁。下葬于普林斯顿其父母的墓旁。 余英时，1930年生于天津，籍贯安徽潜山。香港新亚书院文史系首届毕业，哈佛大学史学博士。台湾中央研究院院士、美国哲学学会院士。曾任密西根大学副教授、哈佛大学教授、耶鲁大学讲座教授、普林斯顿大学校聘讲座教授、康奈尔大学第一任胡适讲座访问教授和香港新亚书院院长兼中文大学副校长。曾获国际多所大学的荣誉和名誉博士学位。2006年荣获有“人文诺贝尔奖”之称的“克鲁格终身成就奖”(the John Kluge Prize for lifetime Achievement)。著有中英文著作数十种。 Powered by Firstory Hosting
