2002年7月28日(日)午前1時頃、愛知県豊川市の国道2号沿いの大型ゲームセンターの駐車場で、車の中にいた生後1歳の10ヶ月の男児が何者かに連れ去られ、およそ4時間後に三河湾で◯体となって発見されました。事件からおよそ9ヶ月後、当時35歳の男性が逮捕され裁判では懲役17年の判決が下されました。この男性はその後服役を終えて2022年に出所、現在は無罪を主張して再審請求を行っています。
