Yeah Uh Huh Rotisserie Cinema Take 5 is our collective list of the best movies of 1985. For the uninitiated, the Yeah Uh Huh crew convene with a quorum of trusted advisors to build a list of the best movies of that year. Each individual nominates an individual film. It’s a fun endeavor, but it doesn’t end there. The members of this esteemed society are invited to a massive episode of YUH to argue a case for why their selection should be considered as the very best film of 1985. Attendance to the pod is option, but If someone does not show they run the risk of not giving their entry their nomination the push required to win it all. At the conclusion of these opening arguments, the attendees of the podcast list the nominated films in order of preference in ascending order. A sophisticated scoring system converts these rankings into a master list, and the film that collects the most overall points wins the Felix (opposite of Oscar) as the best motion picture of 1985!
