Yuma Propositions 436 and 437 for November Election

Arguments supporting and opposing each proposition are being accepted for inclusion in the official publicity pamphlet. Proposition 436 – Permanent Base Adjustment to the City’s Annual Expenditure Limitation Proposition 436 would authorize a permanent adjustment of million to the expenditure base used to calculate the City of Yuma’s Annual Expenditure Limitation (AEL). The adjustment would allow the City to spend revenues it already collects and lawfully receives to maintain existing and planned City services, programs, and infrastructure.
