Yvette Walker - How I Learned to Choose Joy

Yvette Walker is the creator and host of the Positively Joy podcast and the Positively Joy Christian website. Her brand is centered around the podcast but she writes a blog and is working on a devotional to be published in 2021. She writes Christian song lyrics and is a Bible journaler. Walker has worked in media for most of her career. Currently, she is Assistant Dean at Gaylord College at the University of Oklahoma. She is the chair of the Education Committee of the Society of Professional Journalists, and has been inducted into the Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame. She has been a newspaper and online editor. She is the author of "Whispering in His Ear," a devotional that is a finalist in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards.
