התוכן יש לעורר אודות ענינים של מעשה בפועל שהזמ"ג – הדינים בשו"ע הנוגעים לתשעת הימים, ובפרט הדינים דשבוע שחל בו תשעה באב [ואע"פ שבנוגע לפועל בקביעות ש.ז. (תשמ"ח), שת"ב נדחה ליום א', יש שקו"ט אם כל השבוע שלפנ"ז דינו כשבוע שחל בו ת"ב, אבל בנוגע להוספה בלימוד התורה וצדקה אין מקום לשקו"ט]. ופשוט שבזה נכלל החיוב ללמוד הלכות אלו בשו"ע, ולפלא שכשעושים "שטורעם" בנוגע ההוספה בלימוד התורה בימים אלו, ובפרט עניני בית הבחירה, לא מזכירים אודות לימוד ההלכות דבין המצרים! ועפמ"ש "ציון במשפט (תורה) ושבי' בצדקה" יש לעורר ע"ד ההוספה בלימוד התורה, וכן בנתינת הצדקה ובפרט לפני התפילה. ואם בנוגע לזמנו כותב אדה"ז שעיקר העבודה היא בצדקה ש"אין ישראל נגאלין אלא בצדקה", ועאכו"כ בזמננו זה ש"כלו כל הקצין", ובפרט בימים אלו שבהם מתפללין לה' ביתר שאת לגאולה, ורוצים שהתפלות יתקבלו. כל השומעים את הדברים ישתדלו לא רק לקיימם בעצמם אלא לפרסמם – להביא את "אגרת" נשיא דורנו לכאו"א מבני הדור.ב' חלקים משיחת יום ה' פ' מטו"מ, אור לר"ח מנחם-אב ה'תשמ"ח ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=05-08-2024 Synopsis It is appropriate to raise a timely issue: the halachos in Shulchan Aruch pertaining to the Nine Days, and particularly the laws of the week of Tisha B’Av. (Although Tisha B’Av this year is postponed to Sunday, and there’s a debate as to whether the entire preceding week is considered the week of Tisha B’Av, however, with regards to increasing in Torah study and tzedakah there’s no room for debate). Obviously this includes the obligation to learn these halachos, yet it’s astonishing that when a stir is made about increasing in Torah study during the Three Weeks, particularly Hilchos Beis Habechirah, no mention is made of studying the halachos of the Three Weeks! In accordance with the verse, “Tzion shall be redeemed through justice (Torah) and those who return to her with tzedakah” – there should be an increase in Torah study, as well as tzedakah, and particularly, giving tzedakah before davening. If the Alter Rebbe wrote that in his times the primary service was through tzedakah, because “The Jewish people are redeemed only through tzedakah,” how much more so nowadays when “all the end times have passed.” And especially at this time of year, when we daven to Hashem for the Redemption with even greater intensity.
