התוכן בנוגע למ"ש בשני דפ' ראה "כי ירחיב ה"א את גבולך.. ואמרת אוכלה בשר כי תאוה נפשך לאכול בשר וגו'", מביא רש"י את השיטה בזה שבמדבר נאסר להם בשר תאוה ודוקא משנכנסו לארץ הותר להם בשר תאוה (ע"י שחיטה בכ"מ). והענין בעבודה: במדבר היו בנ"י במצב שקיבלו את כל צרכיהם (מן, בארה של מרים וכו'), והתעסקו בלימוד התורה ובתפלה ("ויהי בנסוע הארון וגו'"), לעומת זאת כשנכנסו לארץ התחיל הסדר דכיבוש הארץ והתעסקות עם ענינים גשמיים, חורש וזורע וכו' - "הנהג בהם מנהג דרך ארץ". ובזה נותן רש"י את הסדר בעבודה: כשעדיין נמצאים (לפני או) באמצע עבודת התפלה ולימוד התורה,"מדבר", אז אסור להיות (ראי', ובמילא ה)תאוה בענינים גשמיים, דוקא לאח"ז "כשנכנסים לארץ" ומתחילים להתעסק בכיבוש השבע (אומות -) מדות רעות והפיכת גשמיות לקדושה, ו"המתאבק עם מנוול מתנוול", שייך שתדבק בו תאוה לענינים גשמיים. אבל גם אז צריך להזהר "לא תאכל את הדם" - לא להכניס בזה הדם והחיות שלו.משיחת כ' מנ"א ה'תשכ"ב ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=26-08-2024 Synopsis On the verse in today’s Chumash, “When Hashem your G-d will expand your borders…and you will say, ‘I will eat meat,’ because your soul desires to eat meat etc.,” Rashi cites the opinion in the Gemara that non-sacrificial meat was forbidden in the desert, and it was only permitted to them after they entered the Land. But when they entered the Land they had to conquer it, and involve themselves plowing and sowing etc. And here Rashi provides a path for Divine service: at the beginning of the day when one is still in the “desert,” involved in davening and learning, he must not “see” – and therefore will not come to “desire” – physical matters. Only after he “enters the Land” and begins conquering the “seven nations” – transforming physicality and the seven evil traits to holiness – does he engage in physicality. And when he does so, “Anyone who wrestles with a filthy person becomes filthy,” meaning that some worldly desire for physical matters might stick to him.
