התוכן אחז"ל "חייב אדם לומר בשבילי נברא העולם". ומזה מובן שכמו שהעבודה עם עצמו צ"ל באופן של "עזוב תעזוב עמו" – שמשתף גם את גופו בעבודת ה' של הנשמה "לעשות צדקה ומשפט" [כמ"ש בשני דפ' וירא], וכמו"כ צ"ל בנוגע להשפעה על העולם כולו, שהתכלית היא שזה יהי' באופן של ""פדה בשלום נפשי" (וכמו שכתב אדה"ז בקשר לגאולתו "הגדיל והפליא הוי' לעשות בארץ"). והדרך לזה הוא ע"י שנותן דוגמא פשוטה מהגוף – טובת הרגל (אע"פ שהוא גדול יותר בכמות) לא להתנהג כפי שהוא רוצה אלא לפי רצון השכל שבראש (לפי שהוא גדול יותר באיכות). ובנמשל – כאשר מתבוננים בזה רואים שבאמת זהו טובת הגוף לא למלאות את תאוותו ורצונו אלא להתנהג לפי רצון הנשמה. זה שתובעים ממנו להתאפק מלמלאות תאוותו, אי"ז בשביל "טובה" לאחרים, אלא טובתו האישית! ע"י הסבר זה אפשר בקלות "לעשות בארץ" באופן של "שלום". ואשרי אלו שזכו וזיכו את הרבים!ג' חלקים משיחת י"ט כסלו ה'תשכ"ט ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=11-11-2024 Synopsis Our Sages taught, “A person is obligated to say, ‘The world was created for me.’” This indicates that just as one’s service with himself requires that “You shall surely help along with him” – getting the body to participate in the soul’s service “to do righteousness and justice” (as it says in sheini of Parashas Vayera), the same applies to one’s service of impacting the whole world. This can be done by way of example from the body: just as it is in the best interest of the foot (which is greater in quantity) not to do what it wants, but to listen to the head (which is greater in quality) – so, too, you can explain to a person that it is in the body’s best interest not to fulfill its own desires, but to follow the desire of the soul. When it is demanded of a person to restrain himself from fulfilling his desires, he’s not doing a “favor” for someone else, but doing something for his own bodily benefit.
