התוכן [המשך] ובזה שרש"י מציין "כמו שמצינו במעשה קרח", ששם היתה המיתה "בידי שמים", מביא ראי' למ"ש עה"פ לפנ"ז "והזר הקרב יומת" "בידי שמים", אף דבכ"מ שנאמר "יומת" (ולא "ימות") הכוונה בידי אדם. (Although Rashi already explained in Mishpatim on the verse, “its owner, too, shall be put to death (יומת)” that it means by the hand of heaven, nevertheless, there he asks explicitly, “Perhaps it means by the hand of man?” and brings a proof that it means by the hand of Heaven.)
