התוכן מה שנאמר בגמ' "יעקב לא מת .. מה זרעו מה בחיים אף הוא בחיים" הוא כפי שהוא נשמה בגוף (שבנוגע לזה שייך קושיית הגמ' "וכי בכדי חנטו חנטיא וכו'"). וכידוע תורת הבעש"ט עה"פ עזוב תעזוב עמו" שעבודת ה' צ"ל עם הגוף, ובירור עניני הגוף וכו'. (וזהו גם תוכן הפתגם של י' שבט ב"היום-יום" ["וואָס דאָס איז דאָך אויך געווען למראה עיני בעל ההילולא און ער האָט מאשר געווען דער תורת כל יום ביומו"] – "בעסער עסן צוליב דאַוונען", וכמו שמסיים "און מען דאַרף עס טאָן בשמחה"). ולכאו' איך כ"ז מתאים עם מ"ש בנוגע לגוף "עפר אתה ואל עפר תשוב", והרי "שינוי החוזר לברייתו לאו שמי' שינוי", ונמצא שכל השינויים שפועלים בגוף ע"י עבודה וכו' אינם שינויים אמיתים ונצחיים?! ויובן זה עפ"י מ"ש שעל ה"עצם לוז" אינו חל מ"ש "ואל עפר תשוב", אלא נשאר קיים. וזה ממשיך "קביעות" בכל הגוף ועניניו, וממילא גם השינויים שנפעלים בזה ע"י עבודה וכו' הם שינויים קיימים ונצחיים.ב' חלקים משיחת יו"ד שבט ה'תשכ"ט ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=10-10-2023 Synopsis The Gemara’s statement that “Yaakov did not die…just as his offspring are alive, he too, is alive,” applies to the soul in the body (that’s why the Gemara asks, “was it for naught that the embalmers embalmed etc.”). And we know the teaching of the Baal Shem Tov on the verse, “you shall surely help along with him,” that Divine service must be done with the body, elevating it etc. (And this is also the idea of the Hayom Yom for Yud Shevat, that “it’s better to eat in order to daven,” and it concludes, “and this must be done with joy.”). Seemingly, how does all this accord with the idea that “you are dust and to dust you will return” – we know that “a change that reverts to its original state isn’t called a change,” thus it emerges that all the “changes” one effects in the body through his Divine service etc. aren’t lasting changes?! We can understand this based on the idea that there is one bone, the luz, that doesn’t “return to dust,” but remains intact.
