התוכן הוראה נפלאה בקשר לעבודת התשובה ממ"ש בשיעור רמב"ם היומי "כל כהן שיש בו מום, בין מום קבוע בין מום עובר, לא יכנס למקדש.. ואם עבר ונכנס לוקה וכו'": קיימת אפשרות שאדם ינצל את ענין התשובה לענין בלתי-רצוי, כמו "האומר אחטא ואשוב", שאע"פ ש"אין מספיקין בידו לעשות תשובה" "הואיל והתשובה גורמת לו לחטוא", אבל "אם דחק ונתחזק.. ועשה תשובה מקבלין תשובתו", ובידעו זאת גופא - יתכן שירצה לנצל עוה"פ את ענין התשובה לענין בלתי-רצוי - "אחטא ואשוב". וע"ז באה ההוראה שגם אם ה"מום" של היהודי הוא רק "מום עובר" - בטוח שיעשה תשובה לאח"ז, "אחטא ואשוב", עליו לדעת שברגע זה אינו יכול להכנס למקדש ו"להקריב קרבן" - להיות בקירוב אל ה'! ומה שיוכל ברגע שלאח"ז להכנס למקדש וכו' אי"ז מקטין את החסרון וההפסד שברגע זה הוא לא יכול. ומובן א"כ שגם המצב ד"מום עובר" מושלל לגמרי וכו'.ב' חלקים משיחת י"ז בתמוז ה'תשמ"ז ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=07-07-2026 Synopsis We learn in today’s Rambam that any Kohen who has a blemish may not enter the Sanctuary, “whether it is a permanent blemish or a temporary blemish.” This teaches us a wondrous lesson about teshuvah: A person might say, “I will sin and then return.’” And although “he is not granted the opportunity to do teshuvah” (because it is the teshuvah that causes him to sin) nevertheless, because “If he pushed forcefully and overpowered his inclination and did teshuvah, his teshuvah is accepted,” a person might still commit a sin in reliance on his subsequent teshuvah. But this halachah teaches us that even a “temporary blemish” prevents him from entering the Sanctuary: Despite the fact that one intends to teshuvah later, and it is certain that he will do teshuvah, he must know that nevertheless, at this moment he cannot enter the Sanctuary and bring himself closer to Hashem. The fact that a moment later he will be able to enter the Sanctuary does not diminish the blemish and loss at this moment in the fact that he cannot.
