התוכן מצות ספירת העומר הוא דבר נפלא: הרי המציאות של "יום" היא טבע שהקב"ה הטביע בעולם ללא כל שייכות, לכאורה, לעבודתם של בנ"י, ואעפ"כ, ישנה הציווי של ספירת העומר ‏–‏ לספור את הימים, וציווי זה מהוה נתינת-כח לכל בנ"י לעשות מכל מ"ט הימים ‏–‏ מציאות אחת של תורה! ועוד: במצות ספיה"ע רואים עד כמה גדול כוחו של כל יהודי, ואפי' של ילד/ה קטן/ה, שסופר'ת את העומר: עי"ז נפעל הענין ד"יושפע שפע רב בכל העולמות" ואפי' בעולמות העליונים! ובפרט כשעושים א"ז ב"רוב עם הדרת מלך", שה"רוב עם" משפיע על הנמצאים שם, ואפי' ילד/ה קטן/ה משפיע/ה בזה על הסביבה, ואדרבה ‏–‏ רואים במוחש שספיה"ע של ילדה קטנה משפיעה ביותר גם על רב בעל זקן-לבן או משפיע זקן...משיחת יום ב', כ"ד ניסן ה'תשמ"ח ב"יחידות כללית" ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=22-04-2025 Synopsis Sefiras HaOmer is wondrous mitzvah: although a day is a phenomenon that Hashem embedded in the nature of the world, seemingly unconnected to the service of the Jewish people, nevertheless we are commanded to count the days, thereby empowering every Jew to transform all forty-nine days into a singular Torah reality. Moreover, Sefiras HaOmer expresses the power of every Jew: even a young child counting the Omer causes “abundant bounty to be bestowed upon all the worlds,” even in the higher spiritual worlds. Especially when the Omer is counted in public (“The splendor of the King is in the multitude of the people”), because the “multitude of people” has an impact on everyone there.
