התוכן לילדי ישראל היתה השפעה רבה ומכרעת בביטול גזירת המן. וכמסופר במדרש שלאחרי שנחתמו האגרות של גזירת המן פגש מרדכי ג' תינוקות ושאל אותם "פסוק לי פסוקיך" (היינו מהו הפסוק שאתה חי עמו). נענה א' ואמר: "אל תירא מפחד פתאום וגו'". וכדי להראות שזוהי הנהגה של כל ילד יהודי – נענה השני ואמר: "עוצו עצה ותופר וגו'". וכדי להראות שענין זה הוא באופן של "חזקה" – נענה השלישי ואמר: "ועד זקנה אני הוא וגו'". הסדר בג' הפסוקים הוא בהתאם לסדר המאורעות: תחלה הי' זה רק ב"מחשבת המן", וע"ז בא הפסוק "אל תירא וגו'" – שלילת הפחד מדבר העלול לבוא (ומ"שואת רשעים" – שרוצים להחשיך ולהחליש את חיי היום-יום של בנ"י המוארים באור התורה). כאשר מחשבת המן מתגלה בדיבור ומתייעץ עם שרים ומציע אותה לאחשורוש – בא הפסוק "עוצו עצה ותופר וכו'". כאשר הדברים נתקבלו אצל אחשורוש ונגזרה הגזירה בפועל – בא הפסוק "ועד זקנה . . ואמלט" – המילוט וההצלה מגזירה זו [המשך יבוא].משיחת יום ד' פ' צו, י' אדר שני, ערב תענית אסתר (מוקדם), ה'תשד"מ, לילדי "צבאות השם" שיחיו, בבית הכנסת, אחרי תפילת מנחה ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=19-03-2024 Synopsis The Jewish children played a very determinative role in annulling Haman’s decree. As the Midrash states, when Haman’s decree was sealed, Mordechai encountered three Jewish children and asked them, “Tell me your verse” (that is, the verse that you live by). One replied with the verse “Do not fear sudden terror etc.”; to show that this wasn’t an isolated incident but the conduct of every Jewish child – he asked a second child, who replied with the verse, “Contrive a scheme, but it will be foiled etc.”; then, to show that this has a chazakah – he asked a third child, who replied with the verse, “To your old age I am [with you]…I will deliver you.” The order of the three verses corresponds to the sequence of events: First, [the decree] was only in thought, “Haman’s scheme,” to which comes the verse “Do not fear, etc.” – negating the fear of something that might come (and “the darkness of the wicked” – who wish to darken and weaken the lives of the Jewish people which are illuminated by the light of Torah). Later, Haman’s thought was expressed in speech, when he consulted with other ministers and presented the plan to Achashverosh – to which comes the verse “Contrive a scheme, but it will be foiled, speak a word but it will not materialize etc.” Later, Achashverosh accepted the plan and the decree was enacted – to which comes the verse, “To your old age [I am with you]…I will deliver you” – from the decree.
