התוכן [המשך] ולכן כ"ז שיעקב רק שמע שיוסף "מנהל במצרים עסק גדול" עדיין לא הי' בטוח ש"אפשר לסמוך עליו", ודוקא כאשר ירד למצרים וראה ש"יוסף חי" שם כפי ש"יעקב" רוצה, ו"מצרים" לא משפיע עליו על אף היותו שם כו"כ שנים ו"משנה למלך", ויוסף בוכה אז על הביהמ"ק שיחרב לאחרי אלפי שנים – אמר "אמותה הפעם", שסומך על יוסף שיעשה את העבודה בשבילו. ואז מתגלה שמטרת ירידת יוסף למצרים, שלישי דפ' וישב, היא "לפליטה .. למחי' וגו'" – להקים במצרים "בית הוראה" כבא"י. וכ"ה בנוגע לירידת הנשמה בכלל. ומזה חיזוק גדול בענין י"ט כסלו: ש"ירידת" ה"מעיינות" בהבנה והשגה באופן שגם הנפה"ב תוכל להשיגן, אינה אלא כדי שיהי' "להחיות [גם ה]עם רב". וע"י הנתינת-כח של הרביים, עושים, ע"י "גמ"ח", גם בגלות, מקום ל"עוסק בתורה" ו"מתפלל עם הציבור", באופן ש"פדאני לי ולבני", שניכר שם אלקות וחיי יהודיים אמיתיים!משיחת יום ג' פ' וישב, י"ט כסלו ה'תשכ"ה ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=05-12-2023 Synopsis [Continued.] Therefore, as long as Yaakov only heard that Yosef was alive and running Egypt, he didn’t know if he could rely on him; but when he came to Egypt and saw that “Yosef was alive” – that he lived his life the way Yaakov wanted, that Egypt and his position of power had no effect on him, and that he still cried over the destruction of the Beis Hamikdash hundreds of years in the future – he said “I will die this time,” knowing he could rely on Yosef to do his work. And then it became clear that the real purpose of Yosef’s descent to Egypt, as it says in shelishi of Parashas Vayeshev, is “for a deliverance and to preserve life” etc. – to establish a proper place of Torah study in Egypt etc. And the same applies to the soul’s descent into the world in general. Similarly, regarding Yud Tes Kislev: Though the wellsprings “descend” to such a low level that even the body and animal soul can understand and grasp them, the purpose is lehachayos am rav – to give life even to the “am rav”, those on a very low level. With the powers given to us by the Rebbe’im, through our “gemilus chassadim”, even in exile we can establish a place for “toiling in Torah” and for “davening with the congregation”, in such a way that “he had redeemed Me and My children” – that we see G-dliness and true Jewish life!Excerpt from sichah of Tuesday, Parashas Vayeshev 5725.
