התוכן הרמב"ם פוסק "צוה משה רבינו מפי הגבורה לכוף את כל באי העולם לקבל מצות שנצטוו בני נח". ומזה מובן, דבזה שבנ"י נצטוו לפעול על אוה"ע שיקיימו ז' מצוות דב"נ, תלוי השלימות דבנ"י. [ובזה רואים שחידוש הבעש"ט בענין דהשגחה פרטית, שזו אינה רק על בנ"י, אלא על כל דבר, אינה "תורה חדשה" ח"ו אלא רמב"ם מפורש! – הענין דהשג"פ על אוה"ע]. ועד"ז רואים השינוי שנעשה לאחרונה בהענין ד"יפוצו מעיינותך חוצה", שזה מגיע גם לאוה"ע. וכמו שראו הנהגות רבותינו נשיאינו שלקחו מזמנם לפעול גם על אוה"ע שיטיבו דרכם. ובדורנו מובן גם עפ"י שכל עד כמה נחוצה ההשפעה על אוה"ע שיקיימו הז' מצות דב"נ, מפני שכך צוה משה מפי הגבורה, ובזה תלוי כל חיותם (שגוי שאינו מקיים א' מהז' מצוות ה"ה חייב מיתה)! ומי שנמצא בהשג"פ במשרה כזו שפוגש אוה"ע, הרי בודאי שיכול להשפיע עליהם. וזהו פרט בקיום תומ"צ שלו כיהודי! ב' חלקים משיחת י"ט כסלו ה'תשל"ה ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=23-10-2025 Synopsis The Rambam writes: “Moshe Rabbeinu was commanded by the Almighty to compel all the inhabitants of the world to accept the commandments given to Noach’s descendants.” Thus it is understood that the completeness of the Jewish people themselves depends upon influencing the nations of the world to observe the Sheva Mitzvos Bnai Noach. (Here we see that the Baal Shem Tov’s teaching that Hashgacha Pratis applies not only to Jews but to everything in the world, was not a new idea, chas v’shalom, but an explicit teaching of the Rambam.) We see that recently, the “spreading of the wellsprings outward” has begun to reach even non-Jews, and we also find that our Rebbeim took the time to influence even non-Jews to improve their ways. These days, we can also understand logically how necessary it is to influence the nations of the world to keep the Sheva Mitzvos, because this is what “Moshe was commanded by the Almighty,” and their very existence depends on it (for a gentile who transgresses even one of the Sheva Mitzvos is liable to receive the death penalty).
