יום ה' פ' נצבים-וילך, כ"ג אלול, ה'תשפ"ד

התוכן יש לעורר ע"ד המבצעים הקשורים במיוחד עם חודש אלול. החל מענין התשובה, שגם זה צ"ל בשמחה ובטוב לבב – שהרי אם קיום כל מצוה צ"ל בשמחה (וכפס"ד הרמב"ם סוף הל' לולב) הרי מצות התשובה שמתקנת ומשלימה את כל המצוות עאכו"כ. ומענין התשובה באים לג' הקוין דתורה עבודה וגמ"ח. ויש להשתדל לפעול כ"ז במיוחד על: 1) היהודים שהם בגדר "תינוקות שנשבו". 2) אלו הנמצאים בבתי-כלא – לעוררם ולעודדם שה' נמצא קרוב לכ"א ובפרט בחודש אלול ש"המלך בשדה". 3) אלו שזכו ומגינים על ישראל בגופם וכו' – לעוררם ולעודדם להתקשר עם ה' ע"י קביעות עתים לתורה וקיום המצות, ובפרט מצות תפילין, ועניני חודש אלול בפרט. ומתכוננים ל"לא ינום ולא ישן שומר ישראל", "ושכבתם ואין מחריד", עד ל"ואולך אתכם קוממיות" בגאולה האמיתית והשלימה. We are preparing for Hashem, “the Guardian of Israel, who neither sleeps nor slumbers,” to bring about the time when “you will lie down with no one to frighten you,” and when “I will lead you upright” – with the true and complete Redemption.
