התוכן חמישי דפ' ראה מתחיל עם "עשר תעשר וגו'", דקאי על כללות ענין המעשרות, שזהו כללות ענין הצדקה. כללות ענין הצדקה פועל אחוה ושלום בין אדם לחבירו, שעי"ז נפעל ענין האחוה ושלום בכללות עם ישראל, וכאשר עם ישראל נמצא במצב של אחוה ושלום, הנה אפי' אם מעמדם ומצבם הם שלא כדבעי, מ"מ הולכים למלחמה ונוצחין – הן בנוגע למלחמה עם היצה"ר והן בנוגע למלחמה כפשוטה, ובאופן ששוללים מלכתחילה את האפשרות לענין של מלחמה וכו'.
