יום ה' פ' תרומה, ו' אדר ראשון, ה'תשפ"ד

התוכן בגמ' כתובות (י:) מבואר תוכן ענין המזבח [שהציווי על עשייתו הוא בשישי פ' תרומה] עפ"י הר"ת של מזב"ח: מזיח גזירות, מזין, מחבב (את ישראל על אביהם), מכפר עונות. דאף שלכאו' הי' צ"ל הסדר הפוך: קודם "מכפר עוונות", שעי"ז נעשים "חביבים" לפני הקב"ה, ואז ניתן לבקש ממנו מזונות (שצריכים עכשיו), ושיזיח את הגזירות (שיבואו לאח"ז)? הנה זהו החידוש של המזבח שדבר הראשון, עוד לפני שהוא מכפר עוונותיהם, ה"ה מזיח את כל הגזירות שעל בנ"י, ואח"ז "מזין" – הוא נותן (לפי תאוותו ורצונו של האדם, שלע"ע, לפני הכפרה, רוצה) גשמיות, ואח"ז "מחבב" – השפעות רוחניות, ואח"ז "מכפר עונות"!משיחת כ' מנחם-אב ה'תשי"ט ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=15-02-2024 Synopsis The Gemara in Kesubos (10b) explains the function of the Mizbeach [whose construction is commanded in shishi of Parashas Terumah] with an acronym: Maziach (it removes decrees), Mazin (it [provides sustenance), Mechabev (it endears the Jewish people to Hashem), and Mechaper (it atones for sins). Seemingly, the order should have been the opposite: first comes atonement for sins, which endears the Jewish people to Hashem, which enables a person to ask for sustenance (for the present) and removal of decrees (for the future). But the Gemara teaches that first comes the removal of decrees, even before the sins are atoned for.
