This is why we saw in Russia that he worked on sending a melamed to one faraway place to teach Alef-Beis at the same time and with the same enthusiasm and mesiras nefesh as his work to ensure that Chassidim in a different community would study Chassidus the entire Thursday night. Similarly, when he arrived in the United States, the work was in both extremes: He founded a yeshivah where Chassidus would be studied in depth etc., and at the same time, he worked to ensure that public school children who had received no Jewish education at all would be taught Alef-Beis. And they both go together: Since his work and concern for others was imbued with the essence of his soul and he gave his life for it, there was no room for making logical calculations.
