Being that the Exodus involved open miracles, this means that a person experiences miracles every day, and when he contemplates this, he will see it. Sometimes open miracles, sometimes open displays of Hashgacha Pratis, and sometimes miracles clothed in the ways of nature; indeed, a Jew’s livelihood is entirely miraculous (just that it is clothed in nature). In this vein, the Gemara tells the story of Rav Hamnuna, who would daven to Hashem for food even when he already had food on his table. This is also the significance of the brachos made before eating food – the brachah places the food in the person’s domain, giving him permission to enjoy it.
