התוכן א) מנין בנ"י הי' "מבן עשרים שנה ומעלה כל יוצא צבא בישראל" [כמ"ש בראשון דפ' במדבר]. והנה עפ"י טבע לא שייך שמבין יותר משש מאות אלף אנשים "מבן עשרים שנה ומעלה" לא יהיו עכ"פ אחדים שלא יהיו בריאים וחזקים כדרוש להיות "יוצא צבא", ובפרט כשנמצאים במדבר וכו', ואעפ"כ רואים דבר נפלא: כל בנ"י שמבן עשרים שנה ומעלה היו "יוצא צבא בישראל"! ומכאן רואים שכאשר הולכים בדרך התורה, בדוגמת בנ"י במדבר שהיו אז בהליכתם ממתן תורה - אין שליטה לגדרי הטבע אפי' בנוגע לבריאות הגוף! ב) הוראה ממ"ש במנין השני של בנ"י (שבפ' פנחס, ע"ש ברש"י כו, ה) שהקב"ה העיד על בנ"י שהם יצאו ממצרים כשהם בקדושתם ולא הושפעו ממצרים, אע"פ שהיו עבדים שם 210 שנה ומצרים היתה ארץ מפותחת בתחום ה"פילוספי'" וכו', והיו בטוחים ש"אנכי ארד עמך מצרימה" ושאם יתנהגו בהתאם להוראות ה' ייצאו ממצרים.משיחת כ"ה אייר ה'תש"ל ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=02-06-2024 Synopsis (a) The Jewish people in the desert were counted “from twenty years old and upward, all who are fit to go out to the army in Israel” (as it says at the beginning of Bamidbar). By nature, it is impossible that among more than six hundred thousand men “from twenty years old and upward,” there wouldn’t be at least some who weren’t healthy and strong enough to be “fit to go out to the army,” especially in the desert, etc. Yet here we see a wondrous thing: all the Jewish men from twenty years old and upward were “fit to go out to the army”! This teaches us that when the Jewish people follow the Torah, like our ancestors, who at the time were coming from the giving of the Torah – they are not subject to the rules of nature, not even regarding their bodily health! (b) Regarding the second counting of the Jewish people [in Parashas Pinchas; see Rashi there etc.], it says that Hashem testified about the Jewish people that they left Egypt with the same holiness and purity as when they arrived there; they were not influenced by Egypt despite having been slaves there for 210 years, and despite Egypt being the most advanced land in the world in philosophy etc. They were certain that Hashem was with them, (“I will go down with you to Egypt”), and that by behaving according to Hashem’s instructions, they would leave Egypt.Excerpt from sichah of 25 Iyar 5730 For a transcript in English of the Sicha: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=02-06-2024
