התוכן א) הסדר בפרש"י עה"פ בססיום פ' בהר "לא תעשו לכם אלילם" - "כנגד זה הנמכר לנכרי שלא יאמר הואיל ורבי מגלה עריות אף אני כמותו, הואיל ורבי עובד ע"ז אף אני כמותו, הואיל ורבי מחלל שבת אף אני כמותו, לכך נאמרו מקראות הללו" (- דלא כסדר הכתובים 1) לא תעשו לכם אלילים 2) שבתתי תשמרו 3) מקדשי תיראו (- גדר קדושה, בו מרומז הענין דגילוי עריות וכו')) הוא ע"ד הכלל ש"דיבר הכתוב בהווה" - כשצריכים להזהיר הנמכר לגוי לא ללמוד מהנהגת רבו ה"ז עפ"י הסדר שרגיל יותר שהוא ילמוד ממנו: קודם ענין הקשור עם תאוות וחמדת האדם - ג"ע, ואח"ז הענין דע"ז שאינו "בהווה" כ"כ, ואח"ז הענין ד"שבת" שאינו אלא אחת לשבוע (משא"כ בכתוב עצמו, שהם ג' ציווים שונים, לא שייך לומר "דיבר הכתוב בהווה").משיחת ל"ג בעומר ה'תשמ"ו ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=24-05-2024 Synopsis At the end of Parashas Behar, on the verse, “You shall not make idols for yourselves,” Rashi states: “This is addressed to the one who has been sold to a gentile, that he should not say, “(1) Since my master engages in illicit relations, I will also be like him; (2) since my master serves idols, I will also be like him; (3) since my master desecrates the Shabbos, I will also be like him.” This is why these verses are stated [here].” However, in the Torah itself, the order is different: (1) “You shall not make idols for yourselves”; (2) “You shall keep My Shabbasos”; (3) “You shall fear My sanctuary” (“sanctity” connotes refraining from illicit relations). The reason Rashi changes the order is because “The Torah speaks of what is usual”: when cautioning the Jew who has been sold to a gentile not to learn from his master’s conduct, he does so following the order in which the Jew is most likely to learn from his master: first illicit relations, which involves a strong human desire etc., followed by idolatry, which is less “usual,” and then Shabbos, which comes only once a week.
