התוכן מעלת פורים קטן, שאינו אלא בשנה מעוברת, להיותו בבחינת "אורח נדיר" שיש בו חביבות יתירה, ובמילא יש לייקר כל רגע של היום. ענין פורים קטן מודגש יותר לאחרי פורים קטן תרפ"ז שאז אמר כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר את המאמר ד"ה וקבל היהודים וגו' שבו מבאר שחינוך ילדי ישראל מהווה היסוד להמשך הקיום דבנ"י – "מפי עוללים ויונקים יסדת עוז וגו'". והחידוש בזה, דאע"פ ש"עוללים ויונקים" עדיין לא שייכים להבנת התורה (בן חמש), ואפי' לא לדיבור בדברי תורה וכו' (בן שתים), ובכ"ז מדגיש הכתוב שהחינוך ד"עוללים ויונקים" מהווה ה"יסוד" לכללות החינוך בתורה (אין עוז אלא תורה")! והמס"נ עבור חינוך ילדי ישראל היא היא הענין ד"קיימו [בימי הפורים] מה שקבלו כבר", וכך התנהג בעל המאמר בעצמו, בכך שהכריז בגלוי אודות גודל ההכרח בחינוך ילדי ישראל מבלי להתחשב בגודל הסכנה שבדבר וכו'.משיחת יום א' דפ' כי תשא, פורים קטן ה'תשמ"ו ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=23-02-2024 Synopsis The special quality of Purim Katan, which occurs only on a leap year, is that it’s like a “rare guest,” which makes it especially dear. Therefore, we must cherish every moment of it. The theme of Purim Katan is especially emphasized after Purim Katan of the year 5687 (1927), when my father-in-law, the Rebbe, delivered the maamar V’kibel Hayehudim, in which he explains that the Jewish education of children forms the basis of the survival of the Jewish people – “From of the mouths of babies and sucklings You have established strength etc.” The novelty here is that even though “babes and sucklings” haven’t yet reached the age of understanding Torah (age five), nor even talking words of Torah (age two), nevertheless the verse emphasizes that educating the “babes and sucklings” constitutes the foundation of all Torah education (“There is no strength but Torah”).
