התוכן עה"פ [ברביעי דפ' ויחי] "יהודה אתה יודוך אחיך" מבאר בתו"א שיהודה הוא ע"ש "הפעם אודה את הוי'" ‏–‏ בחי' הודי', ובאה בהתגלות כש"יודוך אחיך", ע"י הקדמת העבודה ד"אחיך": 1) "ראובן" ‏–‏ באופן של ראי', שעי"ז באים לאהבת ה', פרשה הא' דק"ש, גמ"ח. 2) "שמעון" ‏–‏ באופן של שמיעה והתבוננות, ולכן עבודתו היא (רק) ע"י יראה, פרשה הב' דק"ש, תפלה. 3) "לוי" ‏–‏ ע"ש "הפעם ילוה אישי אלי", חיבור עם השי"ת ע"י התורה, שע"ז קאי מ"ש "אמת ויציב.. הדבר הזה". ועיכ"ז באה "יהודה" ‏–‏ ההודי' והביטול שבתפילת העמידה. ומוסיף, שב"יהודה" ישנו האות י' שמורה על תמידיות, והיינו שבעצם עומד כל יהודי כל הזמן במצב של הודי', אלא שהעבודה היא לגלותה. חלק ממאמר ד"ה יהודה אתה יודוך אחיך, אור ליום ג' פ' ויחי, י' טבת ה'תשל"ח, בחדרו הק' ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=02-01-2026 Synopsis On the verse (in revi’i of parashas Vayechi), “Yehudah, your brothers will acknowledge you,” the Alter Rebbe explains in Torah Or that Yehudah represents submission (“This time I will thank (odeh) Hashem”), which is revealed when “your brothers acknowledge you” as a result of the service of “your brothers” – Reuven, Shimon, and Levi: (1) Reuven represents seeing (“for she said, ‘Hashem has seen (ra’ah)’”), which leads to love of Hashem, corresponding to the first paragraph of Shema and the pillar of acts of kindness; (2) Shimon represents hearing (“Because Hashem heard (shama)”) and contemplation, which leads to fear, corresponding to the second paragraph of Shema and the pillar of service (tefillah); (3) Levi represents a connection to Hashem (“This time my husband will become attached (yilaveh) to me”) through Torah, as alluded to in the paragraph Emes veyatziv by the words “this thing.” After these three levels comes “Yehudah” – the submission and bittul of the Amidah.
