התוכן ההוראה ממ"ש בהתחלת פ' הקרבנות [בתחילת פ' ויקרא]: "אדם כי יקריב" - כאשר האדם בא להתקרב לאלקות, הנה "מכם קרבן לה'", קודם כל עליו להקריב את עצמו. והסדר בזה הוא (כמו בעבודת הקרבנות כפשוטו) שקודם צריך לבדוק האם הוא תמים, והבדיקה צ"ל כדבר הנוגע בחיי נפשו ממש ואז יבדוק את כל פרטי מחשבה דבור ומעשה שלו ויתקן את הדברים הדורשים תיקון. ואח"ז יֵרָצה להיות קרבן - שמוציא את הדם שבבהמה, את החיות (הדם) שיש לו בענינים גשמיים (בהמה) ומשתמש בהם לעבודת ה' וכו'. וגם מי שכאשר מתבונן במעמדו ומצבו רואה שאינו תמים - ישנם חטאים שעדיין לא תיקנם "וחטאתי נגדי תמיד", ומקשה א"כ, איזה שייכות יש לו לענין הקרבנות?! ע"ז מוסיף כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר בפי' "מכם" ש"מכם ובכם הדבר תלוי!" - כל אחד יכול להתקרב לאלקות! והכח ע"ז בא ע"י "ויקרא אל משה" שבכל דור!ב' חלקים ממאמר ד"ה באתי לגני תשי"ב ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=04-04-2025 Synopsis The verse states (at the beginning of parashas Vayikra), Adam ki yakriv (“When a person will bring”) – when a person wishes to come close to G‑dliness, then mikem korban laHashem (“from you an offering to Hashem”) – he must first and foremost offer himself. The order is (just as in the physical korbanos) to begin with examining oneself to see whether he is tamim – whole – and the examination must be conducted as something that affects the very life of one’s soul, because then he will carefully scrutinize every aspect of his thought, speech, and action, and correct whatever needs perfection. Afterwards, he will be acceptable as a korban – that is, removing the “blood” from the animal, meaning his vitality in material matters, and redirecting it to be used for the service of Hashem etc. One may wonder, how he can possibly bring a korban if he sees that he is not whole – meaning he still has sins that require fixing, “my sin is always before me”? To this, my father-in-law the Rebbe added an explanation on the word mikem (“from you”) – that “it depends on and within you”: every single Jew has the ability to come close to Hashem.
