De komende tijd zitten we in Zaanstad even zonder streekdichter. ‘Onze’ Frans Reichardt neemt de benen. Hij reist af naar het zuiden van Europa om de Camino Francés te lopen. Een tocht van 791 kilometer. Maar … het is wel voor ’t goede doel. Reichardt wil met zijn toch geld inzamelen voor de Tyltylschool Rotterdam. Die openbare streekschool voor (Voortgezet) Speciaal Onderwijs is gespecialiseerd in het geven van onderwijs aan kinderen met een ernstige meervoudige beperking (EMB). Op 14 juli vertrekt hij en drie dagen later begint zijn tocht in het Zuid-Franse Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, maar om in de stemming te komen en de benen nog wat extra te trainen, loopt Reichardt voor zijn vertrek in vier etappes naar Rotterdam.
